Sharp End Audio is the collision of my previous professional background in electronics and my current full time occupation in music.  I want to create intentionally designed, well-built gear shaped by real experience on the stage and in the studio.

During lockdown 2020 (did that really happen?) for a bit of fun I decided to chuck one of my breadboard tinkerings into a box and call it the 'Nails Impact Distortion', I put 25 up for sale, thinking I'd be sat on them forever. 

 

No one was more surprised than I when the first batch sold right away.  Then the second.  Repeat for a few more designs since and here we are.  Since then I've used pedals to write and record multiple Top 10 UK Charting albums.
 

I've been around many, MANY pedals over the 20 years in music, making mistakes and happy accidents all over the place.  I bring that experience to the breadboard, then to the stage, and finally to anyone who wants a piece of my vision when it comes to the noises we make.

Thus far, all my pedals have been analogue fuzz/overdrives built in small batches.
